Ruff Ridge – Gear Built for the Wild

Every Adventure Taught Us Something
Like many dog owners, our weekends are spent exploring. From local woodland walks to long days in the Lake District and Scottish Highlands, every trip is about making memories with our dogs. But adventure after adventure, we found ourselves asking the same questions. Why were we carrying three separate items just to give our dog a drinking a snack? Why did outdoor gear rely on plastic clips that never inspired confidence? Why did so many products promise durability but struggle when they were actually put to the test? The more we explored, the more obvious it became that outdoor dog gear was often designed for the shelf rather than the trail. Eventually, one simple question changed everything.
"Why doesn't someone make gear that actually works?"
That question became the beginning of Ruff Ridge.
